A BIT ABOUT
RUGBY DISTILLERY
IT’S KIND OF A FAMILY AFFAIR
RUGBY DISTILLERY IS THE BRAINCHILD OF SISTER AND BROTHER TEAM, EMMA & RICHARD.
MEET RICHARD & EMMA
Created by Rugby native’s, sibling duo Richard & Emma were on a mission to craft a spirit which encompasses the intensity and affinity of the great English sport of rugby. To pay homage to the town and sport, what better place to craft the spirit than in its birthplace in Warwickshire?
As a small business, Richard and Emma’s family banded together as a team to craft their first spirit, 1823 Dry Gin, in the fields of Rugby. Their Gins boast an extraordinary depth of flavour thanks to the fusion of twelve botanical elements.
Since then, Rugby Distillery has explored various fun and classic flavour profiles and expanded their business partnerships.

WHEN CREATING OUR BRAND, WE WANTED TO PAY HOMAGE TO THE TOWN AND THE SPORT OF RUGBY
1823 – the year William Webb Ellis picked up a football and ran with it at Rugby School. This significant and monumental moment in time created the game of rugby. Just like William Webb Ellis, at Rugby Distillery we pay our respects to tradition whilst embracing the unconventional.
We are proud to be crafted in the fields of Rugby and to be carrying on the spirit of a schoolboy who picked up a ball and ran with it.
So, lets raise a glass to William, and to the spirit of the game.
